First thunder and lightning event of the year over night. The thunder sounded extremely tinny!!

It is COLD!! It’s about 15 degrees with a wind chill of near 0.
My “prediction” for snow for my town from this Nor’easter was 0-4 inches as of yesterday. I heard 6-10, 8-12 and 5-8 before the snow began falling today. We’ve had about 2, less than 3 inches so far. I just saw a 3-5 inch forecast. It looks like the snow will end after midnight. It’s been lightly freezing rain since I typed this. It sure is GORGEOUS outside!!
It looks like we had no more than four inches from what I could gauge last night. Heavy, wet snow with a little bit of ice on top.
