Possible six feet for some in the Buffalo area.
REMARKABLE! This link says 7.5 feet of snow in some areas when all is said and done.
OMG, things have changed since I was here last. I like the new banner picture. Very wintry.
Thanks, Sily. 🙂 The header is one of the choices which comes with the new (for me) blog theme. The SNOW is… I don’t know, I am speechless. Lol!
Four feet of snow in Buffalo and it’s still coming down!
Wet snow! There won’t be any accumulation.
An interesting weather post:
I SWEAR the wind starts blowing when I go outside more often than not.
It is said Mercury is involved with the change of seasons and that Aires has to do with Spring. An astrologer stated that Mercury was 18 days late entering Aires this year, hence the late arrival of spring. FWIW. I thought I would pass it on.
Spring is slow coming this year. Last year I commented on my blog that the trees started to get that greeny yellow look March 23. This year it wasn’t until yesterday April 4 that I seen it, and from my vantage point I can see only 2 weeping willows starting to bud.
It’s been dry here, not much rain at all and a bit cool for this time of year.
It’s odd that the birds aren’t out there chirping. I hardly see any birds at all, not even the crows and they are always around. A very different vibe this year so far, it’s strange.
I don’t hear a peep coming from any likely direction.
I hope you can hear them. Right now the kitchen window is open and I can hear them in the distance, no problem. Nice sign of Spring and nature singing for everyone.
Sily, I used to hear the spring peepers starting the last couple of days of February! I have not heard one peep. I’m thinking I should hear them tonight if I am in the right place.
Significant event to report — last week, opened the front door during the day and what do i hear? Frogs singing in the marsh! They felt warm enough to come up from the mud. How glorious!!!

I was completely oblivious to the fact this snow hurricane was happening to the east of me today. We had blustery winds and cold like January but I had no clue until tonight.
Three to five predicted. It’s snowing now.
Oh boy, Wednesday and Thursday this week it should be in the 50s and 60s! That means windows will be open and I can hear the birds! Today the sun is shining very brightly and I feel soooooooo much better, than when it’s grey and super stormy. When a low is moving up the coast it zaps all my energy.
Sily, you sound cheery!! Yay!! I hope things don’t melt too fast here. We may have a few inches tomorrow.
Strange! There is no reply button for your comment
>>> “Thanks, but no thanks, Salty. Ha ha! Things were good here. Peaceful. I will skip anything revolting for now. I need to keep my mind as clear as possible. Grace.”
There is a reply button for all the others.
Also strange. I got your comment in my notification box! That hasn’t happened before for this page! Or if it did it was at the very start of this Page then stopped.
A good decision Polly. It bothered me for hours and I wished I had never seen it.
