I picked this article up from Sott because I find it to be absolutely fascinating! The question concerns how much freedom do people perceive they have to do what they want with their lives. One of the possible reasons given for people’s responses is how much government corruption they see as being a factor. Another reason, as expected, is economics. I noticed people of Russia were not included in the results. There is a graph showing percentages of Americans polled from 2006-2013 who think the government is corrupt. There’s been a steady upward trend.
