Another Serious Mood Alert in Early Oct.

This is to be taken very seriously and not to be scoffed at:

Read all of the post at link above.  These alignments are all over my natal sun so if you read in the news that I finally succumbed, you will know why.  A person can only take so much interplanetary stress before snapping like a twig.

Another Moose Eludes Me!

I still don’t believe I missed seeing the moose which crossed the street this morning, crossed the corner of the front lawn and headed up the driveway to the house on the hill behind us.  At the exact moment she was crossing the street and then the front lawn, I was pouring sun tea into a cup and completely missed seeing her out of the kitchen window.

Paul was across the street at the neighbor’s when he spotted her and ran to the house to grab me so we could follow her up the driveway.  She was onto us though and stayed out of sight.  She crossed the back lawn up on the hill, went behind a shed and headed “out back” to the 800 or so acre preserve.  I couldn’t run anymore, especially because I still have a chest cold.

This, of course, is exciting to us who live in western MA along the CT border.  Moose are slowly filtering into our area from further north.

Curses!  Foiled again.  Another moose almost right under my nose and I missed it.  I had to content myself with taking a picture of some of her tracks.

Caution: Strong Mood Alert!

Intense!  Intense!  Intense!  I am wanting to take drastic measures to resolve my irritated feelings and I am fighting against this very compelling impulse.

Screaming Feet

When I get up in the morning, the nerve endings in the bottom of my feet are so sensitive and raw that I use a hairbrush on my soles to “brush out” the sensitivity.  It feels like the bottom of my feet are screaming.  They probably are.

Violet Zinnias

I grew a small patch of violet zinnias this year which are absolutely gorgeous right now.  I found the seeds in a store late and planted them in the latter part of June, I think, or maybe even early July.   The flower heads are larger than my other zinnias.  This is in addition to my various, bigger patches of zinnias in the garden and on the hill as well as some grown in pots.  I can never have too many zinnias and I’ve been expanding my numbers and sizes of zinnia patches every spring for the last three.

I noticed the hummingbirds were chasing off the butterflies on my zinnias in the garden so I haven’t seen very many butterflies this year.  The Monarch Butterflies are mostly absent which may be in part due to the hummingbirds.  The Monarchs know my zinnia flowers are here.  Most of the hummingbirds have headed south, the adults left first about four evenings ago, and we only have a couple of juvenile hummingbirds left which will soon be gone if they did not leave this evening.  Good bye, little ones.  I hope to see all of you next spring.

Something in the Eye

There’s been an “eye thing” happening around the world.  (So far, I know of cases in MA, OH, MI, the UK and Australia.)  I had to deal with it in mid-July.  It starts with the feeling there is something in the eye, like dirt or an eyelash.  (Right eye in my case.)  No matter how much one flushes out the eye with various washes or solutions, the feeling of there being something in the eye persists.  Even though nothing can be found in the eye, I think there really is something there which cannot be seen with normal physical vision.

Mine didn’t progress into any additional symptoms but others have experienced further complications in other parts of their bodies.

Double Binds

This is a complicated issue.  My mind is still becoming entangled in double binds.  Here is what Wikipedia says about it:

Good Grief!

Grief.  Mourning.  Loss.  Will I ever stop feeling these?

Fire Dream

I had a fire dream this morning.  Fire is supposed to represent purification.  My oldest sister, who passed in 2006, was also a large part of the dream.  She would represent an aspect of myself.  So, the part of myself which is like my sister was being purified.  I’d say that is a good thing.
