Look at this headline from Reuters!  Don’t you love the way they word it?  They are giving us a guarantee and a promise that this is what is in store for us.  And not only that, they have printed the headline the magical three times:

Volatile Energies Tonight

What’s happening in my little town tonight?  The police force have had to be on their toes for hours. 

It all started earlier this evening when someone reported seeing smoke from a road in town.  It turned out the smoke was coming from another town.  Then, two different people threatened suicide, a woman was being harrassed by an old boyfriend, there was a high speed chase down my road after a guy on a motorcycle and some other incidents which I did not hear on the scanner.  Stuff is still going on.

We are in the dark of the moon.  Emotional implosions abound during this time.   The new moon is tomorrow.

Teleportation!

Teleportation sounds like such extreme fun!  I would love to do this!  It could be useful in so many ways.    Can you imagine the possibilities???  Here is an excerpt from this morning’s Coast to Coast AM Radio’s newsletter concerning  last night’s guest, Dr. Bruce Goldberg:

“On the subject of teleportation, he told the story of Vivian, a woman that he’d been training to teleport. She was thrown from a moving car by her abusive boyfriend. Killer Cat Dream

Nightmare!  My cat, deceased cat that is, Buddy, was trying to kill me.  He jumped on my back and was clawing and biting me.  He was strong!  He wasn’t piercing my clothes, though.  I had heavy clothes on.  An APB was put out on another black and white cat named Buddy in CA.  I was afraid they would think it was my cat and I did not want him harmed.
 
I had been trying to feed Buddy.  I gave him some rabbit meat.  It was after he ate the meat that he attacked me.  I had him on the porch in a cage but the cage was open.  I began looking for my friend to help pry Buddy off of my back.
 
(I made little change to this account [only a bit for the sake of clarity] which I initially wrote right after waking up from this nightmare about 1 – 1:30 AM on April 19, 2009.)

Pine Siskin Die-off

So many pine siskins have been feeding here since late fall and many appear to have succumbed to that lung disease wild birds can contract called aspergillosis which is caused by a fungus found in decaying matter. 

I should probably stop putting out niger seed for a while because those feeders are the ones they congregate the most at.  But, they should be moving north very soon to breed.  In fact, many have probably already left my area and I am now seeing ones which were staying south of me.  I have found at least 15 dead siskins in the last few months but most have been found this month.

World’s Currency Standard

This is a mighty interesting article concerning what the Chinese government has been buying (copper), especially for all of you who have been buying gold and/or silver.

This article from the Telegraph Media Group Limited 2009 is titled,  “A ‘Copper Standard’ for the World’s Currency System?”

Zhou Xiaochuan, the central bank governor, piqued the interest of metal buffs last month by calling for a world currency modelled on the “Bancor”, floated by John Maynard Keynes at Bretton Woods in 1944.

The Bancor was to be anchored on 30 commodities – a broader base than the Gold Standard, which had caused so much grief in the 1930s. Mr Zhou said such a currency would prevent the sort of “credit-based” excess that has brought the global finance to its knees.

Unity Dream

Last night I had what I will label a unity dream.  Towards the end of the dream a large number of people and I hugged.  Before that I seemed to be searching for something with another woman while we travelled hither and yon.

I’m not recalling many details and this dream does not seem worth recording but the unity aspect feels significant.
