Sungrazer Comets Plunge into Sun

Here is more solar activity, this time featuring sungrazer comets.  The sun has seemed excited of late.  This movie from www.spaceweather.com only captures the 2nd, larger appearing of the two sungrazers:

Kent from www.cyberspaceorbit.com is not sure he buys the theory that these comets are the fragments of a much larger comet which broke up at least two thousand years ago.  I have my doubts, too.  He posted his thoughts with pictures and video on this forum:

The info is at his website as well.

When the sun is excited events seem to intensify on earth.  There is a massive interplay of energies going on within our solar system at all times and with the larger galaxy beyond.  We are connected to these energies.  Believe it or not.

What to Do With a Dead Whale?

This dead, 20-foot whale calf, probably killed by contact with a boat propeller, is being towed to the open sea.  More than six agencies had to be involved in order to resolve how this whale carcass would be disposed.  It appears to be a big problem — whales and boats crossing paths and whales losing out.
