A Tomato Story

The other night I happened to catch a news story about farm workers in Florida.  The story wasn’t focused on what I am going to write now.  The story was about the workers joining together to get better pay. They were successful.  What concerned me was the acres and acres of tomatoes which are picked while still green.

Edgar Cayce wrote that tomatoes were one of the most healthful foods to eat — vine-ripened tomatoes that is – not tomatoes which are picked green and then artificially ripened.

I buy vine-ripened tomatoes which come from Maine.  They may not be optimal tomatoes but I think they are an improvement over what I saw on that program.  Tomatoes are cleansing and I do eat them out of season at times.

Good for Business

This has happened so many times that I’ve lost count and now it makes me laugh.  My buddy and I will go into a store and if there is hardly anyone there, within minutes customers start coming in and buying stuff.  It happened again today.  We have our establishments which we frequent and this was one of them.  I wonder what would happen if we opened a diner.  Would people come?

This has also occurred many times when I was alone and went into a nearly empty store.  All of a sudden the store was not so empty anymore and business had picked up noticably.

Speaking of good for business we passed by a Harley Davidson store today which is close by the store we visited.  They were having a huge, free shindig outside catered by one of our favorite farms, Outlook Farm, and the place was mobbed.  Lots of hungry bikers had shown up as well as people who drove cars.  We could see as we passed by the folks from Outlook Farm had roasted at least one pig.  I’m happy the farm is doing good business.

Solar Wind Blues

The solar wind speed is up.  Feeling blue, lethargic and/or irritable?  We will be inside the solar wind stream into tomorrow.   http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/  If the speed goes above 600 km/s bodily symptoms may worsen.  Some people have heart or neuralgia symptoms, not to mention the dreaded vertigo.

See the coronal hole on the right of the sun?  That is where the solar wind stream is coming from.

There has been lots of heavy cloud cover here for the last two days in addition to chemtrail activity preceeding the cloud cover. 

Two + two = something is going on.

Macaw Teaches Autistic Boy to Speak

Some of the twists and turns and surprises of life are so amazing.  I wonder if other autistic children would benefit from a talking macaw or parrot.  Most children love and respond to animals very quickly.

We have a hearing ear dog here who alerts people to many sounds they would not hear otherwise because of hearing loss.  The thing is, he alerts everyone whether their hearing is good or not!

The Living Sky

Last Sunday we were at Outlook Farm on top of the mountain, sitting at a picnic table, eating lunch and listening to some down home music being performed by local folks who play there every Sunday afternoon.  It was a gorgeous day. 

My buddy pointed to the sky and said, “Look!  Can you see that bird way up there?  I think it is an eagle.”  Well, the bird was so high up it was hard to locate it but yes, it appeared to be an eagle spiraling upward higher and higher on the warm thermal currents.  It was just a speck but when the sun hit it just right the head area appeared white.  Oh, how I envied that bird in flight.  And with its razor sharp eyesight, it could scan the terrain below.  I watched it for a long time until it was beyond my sight.  Come to find out, my buddy and I were looking at different birds so there must have been a pair up there.  Lol!

Aside from this, as I was gazing at the sky, I saw this etheric ball of energy zipping around near me  This was cool.  My peripheral vision picked it up as I was looking for the eagle.  It seemed the atmosphere was alive with activity that day.

Sometimes when I look at a blue sky I lose my sense of depth perception.  It seems there is no linear space and that the sense of depth is a deception.  I half expect the sky screen to peel away and I will be able to truly see what is there.

Noctilucent Clouds of Beauty

I want to preserve this info from the Space Weather website in my weblog.  These noctilucent clouds are very interesting and someone at NASA wants to study them using the AIM spacecraft sent up into orbit yesterday.  Why do they really want to study these clouds and what is the true origin of these clouds?  I’ve always been interested in clouds and I always scan the sky when I am outdoors, or indoors through a window.  My gaze is naturally drawn upwards to the sky.

AIM TAKES OFF: NASA’s AIM spacecraft is in Earth orbit today following a flawless Wednesday afternoon launch aboard an Pegasus XL rocket. AIM is on a mission to study mysterious noctilucent clouds, such as these photographed by Jan Koeman from his home in the Netherlands in June 2005:

Noctilucent clouds (“NLCs” for short) were first noticed in the 19th century following the eruption of the Krakatoa volcano. After sunset, electric-blue tendrils would spread across the western sky, mesmerizing onlookers. At first scientists thought the clouds were a side-effect of the eruption, but long after Krakatoa’s dust has settled, the clouds are still here. Indeed, they are becoming more widespread. Originally confined to high latitudes such as Canada and Scandinavia, NLCs have been seen in recent years as far south as Viriginia and Colorado.

What causes NLCs? Theories range from space dust to global warming. For the next two years, AIM will scrutinize these clouds from Earth orbit to learn what they may be telling us about our planet.

Dow Surpasses 13,000

I am waiting to see if there will be a large market harvest (sell-off) in the near future now that the Dow has surpassed the maturity number 13,000 (13).  The news that the market has hit this number and above is all over the news and in news alerts so they want everyone to see this number.  It is no coincidence.

Upcoming Treacherous Full Moon

The next full moon, May 2nd, is in the sign of Scorpio.  It will be time to head for the hills!  See ya there!  I’ll be the one hiding in thick cover. 

The world is bi-polar.  We go up the emotional roller coaster hill when the moon is waxing and then go down the other side when the moon is waning.  It’s really quite bizarre.

Note (5-1-07):  Experience has shown me that when it comes to the moon, the sign it interacts with manifests in earthly matters two days before the astrologers say the moon enters that sign.   I don’t understand why this is so, but it is.  For example: the full moon in Scorpio energy began to manifest the 30th of April even though it is not supposed to be full in Scorpio until the 2nd. 

IOW, while the moon is in the preceeding sign astrologically speaking, the next sign it will be in already begins to manifest energetically.  Make sense?

Young Minke Whale is Visiting NY Harbor

I wonder what he wants us to know.  He does not appear to be in ill health and was seen leaping out of the water.

And whale dies yesterday.

There is more to this story than is being told.  What else is new?  Did someone zap this whale before anyone could look more closely at what the whale was trying to show us?

Portent of Occurrence?

This picture freaked me out when I saw it.  I did not see it until the 1st of April.  It is from the SOHO website and was captured by their equipment on March 30th.  The sun is blocked out by the occulting disk and what you are seeing is the outer space surrounding the sun.  

The disturbance, rare in itself, was only shown in one frame which is unusual as well.  http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/data/realtime-images.html   If you are a regular, amateur viewer of solar data you will understand why I wrote that.  (The link does not show this particular frame but is where current frames of the sun can be found.)

At that time the chaos was happening with Rosie O’Donnell and her commentary on her show, “The View;” then the flap (intentional, I think) over Imus’ comment started in the media and now we have the murders at Virginia Tech which occurred yesterday, the day of the asteroid flyby.  http://pollyann.wordpress.com/2007/04/14/asteroid-perturbance/

The reason the picture above freaked me out so much is because as soon as I saw it I was overwhelmed with the impression of WAR.  It hit me hard.
