I made my first devices yesterday and it sure took me long enough to finally do it. No biggie except for me. 
I have to see for myself what it’s like to make them. Reading about other people’s experiences is always interesting but I have to have hands on experience with something. Nothing earth shattering occurred but I did feel the fresh, strong energy coming from them when I held them in hand, etc. after they cured.
Some of them didn’t come out too good but now that I understand the pouring process and what is involved I will do better. I repaired some today (hopefully) and poured a new one using a better method. If that one comes out good I will do it that way from now on.
